Plush, built-in banquettes running the entire width of the room and new full-height niches of glossy mahogany bring drama to rooms reminiscent of a posh stateroom on a luxury liner.
Beautiful curtains, crisp white linens, and Starck’s sumptuous bathrooms, now glittering with slate and mirrored tiles, complete a new take on old-world glamour, though no trans-Atlantic vessel ever boasted Royalton’s five-foot Roman soaking tubs.
