Bora Bora Lagoon Resort is an exclusive island resort located on Motu Toopua, an islet in the lagoon easily accessible by a five-minute boat ride directly across from the main village of Vaitape. It is the only location in Bora Bora commanding such breathtaking views of mysterious Mt. Otemanu. The resort features eighty bungalows, fifty of which are located in the overwater category and thirty are beachside in the midst of tropical gardens. The bungalows all feature two telephones, television, in-house videos, refrigerator/minibar, hair dryer, tea/coffee maker and numerous in-room toiletry amenities. Hotel Renovations 01 Dec 2003 - 29 Feb 2004 - Hotel Closed for Renovations Renovations include: * Creation of a new Beachfront Spa - including a large reception area, 3 private treatment rooms (on top of two giant banyan trees) overlooking the lagoon. * A new conference center to accommodate 100 guests theatre style. * The hotel's swimming pool will be doubled in size creating an infinity edge, waterfalls - with stunning views of Mt. Otemanu. * All existing bathrooms will be refurbished with new marble, magnificent stone and authentic antique Faucets. * Creation of a new 2-bedroom villa with a large living room, expanded balconies and a private pool. * 3 Existing beach bungalows will be re-designed and include their own outdoor private swimming pool.
