The Claridge Hotel was inaugurated in 1946. It is the result of a dream of two brothers, Felipe and Ottocar Rosarios, who wanted to provide Buenos Aires with a five-star hotel when there were not many to count on with these characteristics. Since they were, at the time, two successful hoteliers who had managed a pair of well known properties, they decided to provide the city with a European style hotel and the Claridge, with these characteristics and an unbeatable location, became immediately a landmark in Buenos Aires.
After more than 50 years of a successful career, and ready to face the challenges provided by the new millennium, the hotel has received a lift-up by a totally redecoration program which was finished this year with the total renovation of the Lobby, Restaurant and Bar.
