Belvedere hotel is situated in a premium location in the town of Mykonos Island, Chora, in Greece. It is located at the edge of the Chora, at the height of Rohari hill, opposite the School of Fine Arts and only five minutes walk from the most glamorous and cosmopolitan street of Mykonos, the Matoyianni.

Inaugurated in the summer of 1995, the Belvedere was constructed in the beautiful gardens of cypresses, boucavillias, wild laurels, of one of the oldest mansions in Mykonos, the Mansion Stoupa, dating from 1850.
Mansion Stoupa hosts currently Matsuhisa Mykonos restaurant, for the summer months and its successor Remvie restaurant, for the off-season period.
The Belvedere has the form of a small traditional Cycladic village. The village comprises seven small buildings, resembling in the houses of Chora; all arranged around an asymmetrical pool, which overlooks Chora and its port. Situated only five minutes walk away from Matoyianni Street, Belvedere tries to transfer the Mykonian lifestyle in the premises of the hotel. In this respect, Belvedere has progressively created in the gardens and common areas of the hotel, various microcosms of social life; each one with its own style and character.
The guest, who enters the Belvedere premises, feels like entering in privilege grounds, by passing in front of the theatrical set-ups of microcosms full of life. The happy atmosphere, along with the friendliness and warmth of the service, decompresses the guest and smoothly pushes him in a recreational happy mood.
Dynamism and change are also present in the everyday life of the hotel. The set-up of the microcosms differs from morning to night. Sunbathing areas are transformed in sitting areas for Matsuhisa Mykonos or Remvie. Furniture is moved, lighting is added just before the sunset. Guests watch from their rooms and common areas the transformation of the pool area stage.
