Hmm, nothing available. Try another date.

This magnificent 12th-century abbey, set amidst gardens of lavender and rosemary, has been lovingly restored and the monks' cells converted into luxury suites and guest rooms. You will be enchanted by the superb Roman architecture, the beautiful vaulted ceilings and the delightfully rustic furniture. Dine on the restaurant's panoramic terrace and savor Provencal cuisine and excellent local vintages.

As a former Roman monastery, the Abbaye de Sainte Croix is composed of very pure architectural forms with vaults and archways forming a maze of small corridors, nooks and crannies, embellished here and there by stairways, often with very uneven steps, and narrow openings onto the outdoors. The rooms, incorporated into the former living quarters of the Byzantine monks, are mostly small and intimate.
