At the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in France, the doors of
Moulin of Lourmarin, ancient XVIIth century oil mill, open
onto an enchanting interior. Right from the start, at the reception, the
tone is set: raw materials, hay covered ceiling and leather covered walls ... the
Moulin is a museum of provincial life in itself, mixing classical and contempory
styles, new and antique furniture.

The atmosphere is courteous, serene; the staff, friendly, the gentle background
music invites the guests into a festival of shapes and colours ... Since the gastronomic
restaurant has been transferred to The Bastide, the key word , generally,
is simplicity. Edouard Loubet would like his guests to feel "at home".

An the upper floors, the 19 rooms and suites reflect the colours of province:
ochre, blue, white, beige ... And each one is decorated in a specific style.
At the restaurant, le Comptoir d'Edouard, set out on two floors, the cooking
is simple, less elaborate and more conventional. The chef Eric Sapet, trained
by Edouard Loubet, has kept the best of what he learned: the marriages of
subtle savours, the freshness of the ingredients, the local products ... Dishes
which are also available to take away, along with wines from the "Selection
d'Edouard Loubet".

Finally, in this establishment, theatre of relaxing fun and epicurian pleasure,
thursday nights have become jazz evenings, from 7pm. Live bands come to
play at the Moulin, and guest can come and enjoy light cocktail dinners, or
more complete meals, at Comptoir d'Edouard.
