Lying on a totally private spit of land overlooking the ocean, separated from the rest of the world by a salt water Creek, stands "Elsewhere: the Beach House", a simple but charming three-bedroom house located on a beach where the only other footprints to be seen are those of fishermen and turtles. Elsewhere must be one of the most idyllic locations we have yet to find. Access to Elsewhere is via a private, bamboo footbridge across the creek that separates the beach from the rest of the world. There can be no more beautiful a location.

The house sits directly on the sand and is perfect for a beach holiday as it is built in traditional style with thick cool walls, shuttered windows, cool natural flooring, and lofty terracotta tiled sloping roof. The furniture is an eclectic mix of traditional and rustic. There are three double bedrooms each with a door directly on to sea-facing terrace that runs around the house on two sides. Elsewhere has a fully equipped kitchen in the outhouse, separate from the house. Our cook will be happy to prepare meals of your choice.

To ensure the smooth running of Elsewhere and to ensure you have a relaxed holiday, there is a team of friendly staff on hand. Some are resident and live in staff accommodation on the property and look after the three luxury tents as well as The Beach House. For larger groups, The Beach House can be booked in conjunction with Otter Creek Tents, three luxury tents in the same property.
